The New Being is new in so far as it is the undistorted manifestation of essentiel being within and under the conditions of existence.
There are other ways of expressing the same idea. The New Being is new in so far as it is the conquest of the situation under the law -- which is the old situation. The law is man's essentiel being standing against his existence, commanding and judging it. In so far as his essentiel being is taken into his existence and actualized in it, the law has ceased to be law for him. Where there is New Being, there is no commandment and no judgement. If, therefor, we call Jesus as the Christ the New Being, we say with Paul that the Christ is the end of the law. Paul Tillich
Den Ny Væren er også det vi finder hos Paulus udtrykt som den Ny Skabelse - de nye skabninger vi er i KRISTUS. Betyder som vi er i og med begivenheden KRISTUS den GUD Helligåndens Ny Væren og Virke Virkelighed ind i verden ved mennesket Jesus vi tager imod - siger JA til.
Altså: Er nogen i Kristus, er han en ny skabning. Det gamle er forbi, se, noget nyt er blevet til! Men alt dette skyldes Gud, som forligte os med sig selv ved Kristus. 2 Kor 5
Som Peter's bekendelse:
